PICK A SIDE
In The Eyes Of The Beholder
It Is Alright To Have An Opinion
And Speak It In The Context Of
POLITENESS.
AND WHAT PART DOES THE "INTERNET TECHNOLOGIES" PLAY IN THE SELF DESTRUCTIVENESS OF THIS GENERATION OF PROMISING THINKERS?
How many of you have literally walked into a pole because you couldn't get your eyes away from your phone screen? Or missed the bus because you were in a heavy text session? When was the last time you "actually" picked up a "Land Line" phone and called someone just to say, "I was thinking of you?" Actually, how long can you "STARE INTO ANOTHER HUMAN BEINGS EYES?" Communication is important between 2 ppl and if the only way you know is to relay your feelings, is through the Internet, then something is wrong. Here I go with conflict resolution, I believe is one of the problems our ppl are having, because it seems the only way one can get their message across is to kill someone. This is not the movie, "300." Crazy! Destructive and sad. There has to be a way to put "TACT" BACK INTO THE SOULS OF MEN! How does this work, is the Internet going to save us from sin, from ourselves? Are we all going to "Internet Heaven" if we have a cellphone?

TACT IS EVERYTHING! Question -"How would you feel if someone just blatantly came up to you and said; I think your underarms are stinking up the bus and you need some deodorant or get off the bus?" How would you feel, even if it weren't true? First of all, you would be shocked & embarrassed that the person even had the nerve to step up to you to even say such a thing. Then you'd get pissed even if you used tact to keep from punching them right in the mouth. How could a person just say something like that in front of the whole bus of people, giggling & laughing and making jokes about you. If I were in a situation like that, I don't know how I would respond, but I do know I would be hurt & pissed off. We've always heard that saying in many forms- "It's not what you do, it's how you do it." We all know this phrase and a lot of time we don't apply it's principles.
TODAY IS MUCH DIFFERENT THAN THE PAST. I can't tell you where all this disrespect started, but I can tell you this, most of the disrespect you see today comes from the very home these ppl live in. Mommy & Daddy are doing nothing to help, so the flock takes the madness to the streets and God help those that get in their way. I apologize for feeling this way right now, but when I'm faced with those young ppl who have no regards for their elders, I must speak up and spread my mind to those who will listen. I'm so tired of hearing about some young man beating up on his Mom or Dad or even his or her siblings. How did we lose control of our children like this? How do we even get things back together again. In this Century, this new millennium, is there really no Hope left for us AS A PEOPLE? Is there any Hope left for our Black Communities?

IT'S CERTAINLY NOT WHAT YOU DO, BUT HOW YOU DO IT?
AND THAT WILL NEVER CHANGE!🍦
